Welcome to our practice in 8002 Zurich-Enge
Centrally located in the Enge district of Zurich (postal district 8002), right next to the “Museum Rietberg” tram stop on route no. 7, our practice is easy to reach either by public transport or by car. Private parking is available for our patients, and there is a lift up to the practice itself.
Our team concept
Since 2002, Dr. Geri Fankhauser and Dr. Dr. Werner Tank have formed an experienced team offering an ideal combination of dental and surgical skills. Our teamwork is especially beneficial in complex cases, since patients can, if desired, be referred internally without delay or unnecessary bureaucracy. Our primary concern is the welfare of the individual patient, who can expect to receive the right treatment at a fair price: that is our commitment to you.
As a dentist, Dr Fankhauser specialises in the core areas of dentistry such as:
- White fillings (composite and ceramic)
- Implants, crowns and ceramic bridges
- Veneers
- Whitening
- Endodontics (root canal treatments)
- Periodontology (treatment of gum disease)
- Realignment of irregular teeth using INVISALIGN
- Partial and full dentures- In order to ensure the highest possible degree of precision, all of the above procedures are carried out using a stereoscopic surgical microscope.
- Our most recent acquisition is a state-of-the-art erbium YAG laser, which allows virtually painless drilling of cavities and has proved to be of great benefit in the treatment of more nervous patients in particular.
As an oral surgeon, Dr. Dr Tank specialises in surgical procedures such as:
- Extractions (especially wisdom teeth)
- Bone grafts
- Implants
- Surgical removal of tumours
- Orthognathic surgery
Dental hygiene
Professional preventive care is available four days a week (Mondays to Thursdays) from our friendly and experienced dental hygienists, Aniko Voelgi and Mara Bovo, who will be happy to ensure that your teeth are kept in gleaming, tip-top condition.
Waiting times
Our patients greatly appreciate the fact that their appointments begin on time. In this way, they are not kept waiting unnecessarily, and working people in particular can confidently plan ahead for their visit to the dentist.
Emergencies
